Mendel Staff Show Their Support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
In a powerful display of unity and compassion, the staff at Mendel Elementary School came together October 3rd to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Dressed in shades of pink each Friday, faculty and staff proudly stood in solidarity with those affected by breast cancer, raising awareness within the school community.
The initiative not only honored survivors and those currently battling breast cancer but also highlighted the strength of community and the impact of collective action.
Principal Dr. Kathleen Smith shared, “It’s inspiring to see our staff embrace this cause with such heart. Their commitment to awareness and education reflects the values we strive to instill in our students every day.”
Mendel’s participation in Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a reminder that even small gestures—like wearing pink—can make a big difference in promoting hope, awareness, and support.
